Our 17th Annual picnic for children and adults with heart defects is in the works!  It is going to be a great event with lots of activities for the kids and adults so bring the whole family.  Friends welcome.

This year's picnic will be a potluck.  See the registration form for details.

We will provide:
* Drinks and desserts 
* Arts and Crafts
* A chance to meet other families

Irvine Regional Park also offers fun activities for additional fees:
* a train ride around the park
* a small zoo
* bicycle rentals and trails
* boat rentals
* pony rides and horse back riding (call for reservations)

You provide:
* $5 parking fee per vehicle (paid at park entrance)
Optional:
* Blankets and/or lawn chairs (optional - picnic tables are provided.)
* Balls, frisbees, your own bikes, money for the zoo and/or boat/bike rentals

Cost:
There is no charge for the picnic, but registration is requested so we can plan for the appropriate number of people.  Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share for the potluck. See the registration form for more info on what to bring.  

RSVP:  Please RSVP.  If you RSVP and then decide you can't make it - PLEASE let us know so that we can adjust the food for the potluck.  

Donations: Donations are optional but very much appreciated!  They go towards the park fees, entertainment, paper goods, and operational costs.

1.  Please fill out a CA Heart Connection membership form (if you are not yet a member.)
2.  Fill out the Picnic Registration form to let us know who will be attending and send in your donation.

Please be aware of the Rules and Regulations for Irvine Regional Park:

​MINORS MUST BE UNDER DIRECT ADULT SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES.
Smoking in designated areas only.
Park only in designated areas.
Swimming or wading in creek or lake is prohibited. (No watercraft allowed)
A speed limit of 10 MPH enforced at all times.
Fires are permitted only in fireplaces and approved camp stoves. Fire prevention must be the first concern of every visitor.
No wood in barbecues.
The park depends on visitors to protect all wildlife, vegetation, features, and improvements.
Use of motorized vehicles and equipment is prohibited.
State fishing license required for visitors over 16 years of age.
Consumption of intoxicants prohibited.
Dogs must be restrained by a leash at all times (6 foot maximum)
Vehicle operations restricted to designated roads.
Possession or use of firearms or weapons is prohibited.
Tents and hammocks not permitted.
This wilderness area is characterized by certain inherent dangers. These dangers include mountain lions, rattlesnakes, poison oak, and rugged terrain.
RVs/Motorhomes and oversized vehicles cannot be accommodated in regular parking spaces. Please call ahead to make parking arrangements.
